The day 5 of Merry in sumatra, fine.

8:30 a.m. we left the hotel.

Early in the morning a squall passed, there’s a lot of moisture as yesterday no more.

In the fair blue sky, a big rainbow appeared and a equatorial sun shined.

It’s over 40 degrees Celsius, anyway hot.

アルディ gave me a cap of Red Cross’s campaign.

I liked it and put it on instantly.

We went to a village that アルディ has asked.

Over 100 children were playing with colorful outdoor play equipment.

Farmer were seeding near there.

It’s perfect for picture.

Children came more and more, it became a big smile circle.

It’s really wonderful.

Next we visited Indonesia Red Cross.

Today was Friday, almost of all staff went to mosque at noon for 2 hours.

Japanese stayed for the meanwhile.

Then we went to an area damaged hard by Tsunami.

In this village there’s a community center built by Japanese Red Cross.

Children showed us cheerful wonderful smiles in a park on the way and english school of Turkish Red Cross too.

At last we met a merry old woman and sister and brother in Tsunami park.

There were tens of thousands of death and ships washed out 5km by wave.

But it’s merry and fine; wonder park.

The old woman has her home next to the ship and lost her husband.

The children too…

In the early-evening people are coming to this park and talking.

It’s really Merry although there’s heavy bitter legacy.
