Long ago, many mysterious incidents happened around a river called Aisegawa which ran in the East of Komaki Mountain. There always were mysterious fireballs found at nights after sunny rains. The villagers were afraid of them and avoided seeing them, but a curious young man was so keen to figure out what they truly were and went to the mountain to find the dazzling procession of light. The young man gingerly approached the light and surprisingly found that it was the wedding procession of the foxes disguised as fireballs.

The kids from Komaki handcrafted the fireballs and the fox faces and created a mysterious atmosphere. They teared cotton stuffing into pieces, wad them up, wrapped them in Japanese paper, wire-strapped them and made them round to create the fireballs. The foxes were also handcrafted with cotton stuffing with wires strapped at the ears. Every fireballs and foxes had different shapes and expressions.
