People hold umbrellas, with portraits of young survivors of the earthquake and tsunami that hit eastern Japan on March 11, 2011, during the Merry Smile Action held at Tokyo’s shopping district Harajuku on Saturday, May 19, 2012. It was a part of the Merry Project, a global art project staging ad hoc outdoor exhibitions of portraits of smiling children printed on umbrellas.
5月19日（土）東日本大震災の被災者である子どもたちの笑顔が印刷された傘を持った人々が東京のショッピング街である原宿をウォークするイベントがに開催された。このイベントはアートプロジェクトとしてグローバルに展開するメリープロジェクトの一環として行われた。
